BAOS - Blackened Deathcore, Montpellier BENEATH AN OBSIDIAN SKY (BAOS) is a Blackened Deathcore band formed in 2017 in Montpellier. Inspired by bands such as Thy Art Is Murder, Lorna Shore, Oceano, Signs Of The Swarm or Shadow Of Intent, BAOS invites you to dive into a bottomless abyss, a sinister universe, populated by nocturnal creatures and punctuated by devastating riffs and annihilating breakdowns. This promising band has played with many artists such as Vulvodynia, Within Destruction, A Night In Texas, Cabal, Walking Dead On Broadway, Downfall Of Mankind, Fractal Universe, Exocrine, In Other Climes, Horned and many more. After a European tour alongside A Night In Texas and Cabal in 2018, BAOS released their debut EP « Myths » in September 2018 via Slam Worldwide. After this first release, they collaborated with Sylvain Octor Pérez, the guitarist and composer of the band Exocrine, on their second EP entitled « Noctem » which was released on November 25, 2022. With this latest opus, BAOS asserts their true identity as a Blackened Deathcore band that combines Death Metal, Deathcore and Black Metal influences.
